Are there any non-evil social networks out there?
I’m working on developing a “good guy” social networking app. I have some good ideas, but the lawyer I hired to write my simple terms & service suggested I try to see if any social networking sites exist already that try to be above board, transparent and not evil like so many other social media’s are.
I’m interested in sites that let the user have more control with what data they share, who eventually uses their data, and to try to correct some of the issues with other social media’s like Facebook, Next Door, and even Reddit.

No there aren’t. Indiehackers is the closest. Bravado for sales. Just depends on what you’re looking for. There’s lots of private slacks that are of varying value.
There’s a gap for a LinkedIn verified anonymous Reddit like network.

yes there is one, Uhive will be a social non-evil platform where users can earn through their content. Also they moderate the platform. U can find their roadmap on their website. The app aready exist, the internal token went to exchanges end of last month.

Define evil. Lol There’s Gab that is pretty clear what they do with your data, but a lot of their user base is right wing so Idk if you consider that evil or not. Then there is this other network MegaSocial. Worth checking out.
