Anyone in the r/PPC sub running a lead generation business model

Posted by whirlydirlys on August 22, 2023 at 4:34 pm

From what I’ve seen throughout the years of being in this sub, most agencies run a % of ad spend model.

My team is close to releasing an MVP for our development AI platform and were looking for feedback from as many media buyers as possible. I was curious if anyone in this sub has tried so successfully ran a ‘pay per lead’ business model?

We’ve tried it and no longer do it. There are a few problems with this model. The client doesn’t want to pay for low quality leads, even if they match certain criteria we agree on beforehand (eg choose the right responses on the form). Or hot leads who turn cold because the client waited a week to call them will also be blamed on us. Secondly, there is sometimes disagreement over where the lead actually came from.
