Anyone here an expert in Google Ad policy? All of my Google ads pointing to one domain are disapproved. Can’t seem to edit ads to make them life the “ad disapproval” be removed as long as it is pointing to that domain

    Hi all,

I’m lost on what to do to fix this. I’ve submitted a ticket to Google support but its been almost a week and haven’t heard back from them.

These ads are for a virtual receptionist company that has been running for 10+ years and last week, all the ads pointing to that domain (and only that domain) got disapproved for violating the “Call directory, forwarding, and recording services” policy.

I’ve tried both appealing the ads directly and editing the ads to remove anything that might look like it uses that language and nothing so far (my ads didn’t even use that language from that policy). I also tried to reverse engineer the situation and create a new campaign that only had one ad headline and one description with no extra assets and only one brand keyword and that also got disapproved.

The fact that it is “ad disapproval” for all of the ads pointing to the one domain (roughly 12 campaigns total) including my brand campaign makes it seem like it should be more of a “site suspended” issue and not an ad disapproval. So I’m looking to see if there is anything on the site itself I need to fix but in my history with Google ads, I’ve never ran into an issue like this were “ad disapprovals” seem to be acting more on a domain level and not an ad level.

The 1-866-246-6453 # no longer gets you to speak to anyone, it just tells you to submit a ticket. I’m being asked for updates and have no good answer I can give. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Or better, anyone have a good contact # I can use to speak to someone regarding this issue?

    Thanks in advance
