We have seen many a time that data we collect from Google Analytics & Search Console is always different, I got hit hard for sending the data to the client without knowing the reason for different numbers, here are the few reasons

    * Both the tools have different metrics to collect the data
    * Analytics give the data overall & Search Console give the data from web, video, images & news is different tabs
    * Analytics never collect the clicks from PDF however Search Console collects the click on pdf files

If anyone knows other reason pls keep on adding. Hope this will help many SEO’s

I have also noticed this and I have no idea why it happens.

More sources for differences between Google Analytics (GA) und Google Search Console (GSC):

    * GSC only tracks Google. GA lumps multiple search engines together as Organic. In GA you need to specifically filter for “Google”, not just Organic.
    * Some browsers (Brave) and some browser plugins (AdBlocker) will block GA but cannot block GSC.
    * The timezone in GA is normally set to whatever you defined as the appropriate timezone for your website. GSC timezone is fixed. This is especially important for non-American websites.
    * If you use a cookie consent banner, GA cannot track users who did not give consent. GSC is not affected by consent.
