  Am I misusing Product Schema for a Product Reference/Guide/Valuation site?

  I’m worried I might be inadvertantly misusing product schema, and would like advice or recommendations please, as I don’t want to be penalised but also want to ensure I have a schema that’s relevant.

  Last year I decided to build a site to document a particular type of vintage product I collect, every one has its own page with story, specifications, reviews, photos, value, recent sale data, links to buy, etc.

  At the time it was easiest to use WooCommerce to build, and so my SEO plugin classified them as products, which they are, and it worked well as it has relevant meta like brand, model, year, price, reviews, etc. but I’m not a store people buy directly from.

  Now I have greater coding ability I’ve prepared everything to move off WooCommerce, but wondering whether I should keep the schema as product? The only alternative would be article, but it has nothing relevant in terms of meta.
