Alright Folks, Here’s A Weird One For You
So, I was looking at a clients account and came across a conversion action that I did not create.
I know the owner of the account didn’t do it, and I can’t find any evidence of someone else accessing or being given access to the account.
The client is in e-commerce, and the conversion action is for android app installs.
They have no app and never have.
To make things weirder, it’s installed and even recorded a conversion.
Plus, to get a conversion for the tag, wouldn’t I need to have a campaign running somewhere for app installs?
I can’t find any trail that leads to anything.
Is this a weird fluke? Some kind of glitch that will go away?
Who do I even reach out to talk to about this?

It’s a bug by Google almost certainly; I would remove it as an action because they take forever to fix that or you could be paying for conversions for an app that doesn’t exist
