    Adwords grey area?

Preface: I am located in the Netherlands, where all of the drugs mentioned are legal.

    Hello everyone,

I have a question about SEO/SEA, specifically about advertising with certain keywords. I am currently working for a client who owns a spiritual wellness center. In the center, they offer experiences with substances such as magic truffles and psilohuasca, but this is done in a very controlled environment with the intention of personal growth and development. The aim is not to “get high”, but to achieve a deeper spiritual connection and self-awareness.

We now want to advertise for this wellness center and use these specific substances as keywords. I know that advertising with recreational drugs and similar substances with the aim of “getting high” is normally not allowed as per the rules listed [here](https://imgur.com/a/lynuXSy) and [here](https://imgur.com/a/oyk06Hh), but in this case, these substances are used as part of a larger spiritual and wellness program.

I am curious about your opinion on this. Is it allowed to use these terms in our advertisements, given the context? Does any of you have experience with similar situations, or perhaps a better insight into the rules of Google AdWords or other advertising platforms?

Keywords and ads’ content is not the only factors that are considered by Google. If the website’s content contains some “suspicious” words, be sure you gonna be banned anyway
