Advice Seriously Needed for Social Media Inquiries
I run a twitter account that’s decently popular for the genre of music that I cover. I have about 80,000 followers so far, with good engagement. So far this month I’ve posted a total of 34 tweets, with over 20 million impressions collectively.
I’ve been getting a lot of interest from artists and labels within the genre looking to promote their music on my account, but honestly I don’t know what a fair fee would be to charge.
I don’t want to oversaturate the page with content I’m being paid to post, so I want to choose a price that will discourage every and anyone from paying, without over charging.
I think I’m going to avoid offering retweets, but I receive a lot of inquiries for tweets and quote tweets.
Does $50 sound fair? Not enough? Too much?
On a similar note, I have a Facebook page with over 800,000 followers, same brand, great engagement as well… in your opinion, what should I charge for posts on that?
I have an ok job so never really pursued making money off the social media accounts, but I’ve been getting more and more inquiries and starting to not like my job so much so I figured now’s a good time to test things out. I know it sounds crazy to have a following that large and not profiting off it
