    Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns vs Manual

Posted by FortuneBig9276 on March 27, 2023 at 8:44 pm

We have ASC and manual campaigns running in Facebook. It sounds like ASC could potentially overlap with the manual interest based one we have set up. Does anyone have both running? Has anyone run any kind of tests on what that overlap might look like?

ASC is a broad only campaign – interests although a waste of money medium to long term could potentially overlap with the ASC campaign.

ASC defines it audience based on user reaction to the ad units running in the campaign and essentially builds its own interest and and lal audiences, that’s the design concept behind this hybrid ad unit.

I’d suggest if ASC is profitable and there is scale to stick with that.

This is the future of Facebook advertising and if you manage to tune in your creative and copy through constant testing, you will never have to worry about interest groups again.

I have both running. ASC has the better CPA and ROAS compared to manual interest. I am currently using manual interest ad set to test creatives before moving to ASC.
