I only use it for a few clients but might have to switch.

Literally never head anyone ever having an issue with stripe. What are you talking about? We have large transactions constantly beyond 10k on stripe without issue.

After their crazy policy update (which they supposedly walked back), where they were all about fining people $2500 for “misinformation,” which they never defined … I will NEVER use PayPal again.
Financial tech companies are supposed to be about commerce … not politics (Left or Right.)
It’s just a massive turnoff for me.
Bottom line, they’re control freaks. Totally not for me. And I urge everyone else to sidestep their B.S. and go with Payoneer or some other company that doesn’t get all elitist at the drop of a hat.

Paypal has assumed the role of an international commercial arbitrator/court and has successfully hidden this information in the content of its website.
I had a client who had a low search rank and wanted to increase that rank. I found a lot of spam content on this client’s website and reported it to him. The client denied this and demanded a refund of his payment which he made to my PayPal account. I refused and the client filed a refund request with PayPal. I submitted proof of my work to PayPal including spam in client content. However, PayPal returned the payment to the customer without explaining the details of its decision. My inquiries about the reason for their decision went unanswered. In addition, PayPal demanded that I pay for the transactions.
Thus, your PayPal account is yours in name only and PayPal manages the money in your account at its own discretion. In addition, the assumption that PayPal is an arbitrator or court is not entirely appropriate because their decision on contentious issues has no legal justification. This is simply the decision of one unknown person who formally considers a commercial dispute. In fact, you are not the owner of the money in the PayPal account.

We have stripe for years, 0 issues. PayPal issues even after we cancelled it as a merchant.

I’ve been using Paypal for 15+ years, and I don’t have any complaints except for high fees and unfair exchange rates.

What i don’t understand is why you are using PayPal instead of bank transfers. PayPal is for small transactions, not annual payments.

I learned that a long time ago when I was paid $10K for a digital service. I was able to take out 9000 and then they locked my account.
Use high risk merchant accounts. I use EasyPayDirect with Maverick. They know how much volume and charges to expect upfront. Other than that I use Zelle, Wise, and Bank wires.
I only use Stripe and PayPal for low ticket offers. Not for high ticket.

Got fully swindled out of $10k from a fraudulent client with PayPal and they didn’t ever resolve my dispute. Some backwards shit right here.

Yep PayPal is a disgusting company based on their business practices. I’ll never use them or their child company Venmo for business or personal use again.
