Meanwhile, the platform keeps rewarding: Fake motivation. Generic leadership advice. Overdramatic personal stories. AI-written “thought leadership.” Posts designed only for likes and comments.
Sometimes it feels like being good at LinkedIn matters more than being good at your actual profession.

The algorithm doesn’t know the difference between a profound insight and a “rise and grind” post. It just counts clicks. So the people gaming the system will always look more successful on paper than the ones actually saying something worth reading.
