  When Odds Start Moving

  Quick question for the sports bettors here: how much attention do you actually pay to the numbers before placing a wager? I used to look at odds for about three seconds, pick the team I fancied and call it research. Not exactly a masterclass, haha. Lately I’ve been trying to understand decimal, fractional and American formats instead of treating them as random bookmaker decoration. I’m also curious about odds moving after injuries, team news or a sudden rush of bets. Do you usually compare several books first, or just take the number that’s already on your screen? And does implied probability actually change how you make your choices?
