Hi, recently I started running Facebook ads for my e-shop, where im selling sunglasses (for 40 dollars and its not dropshipping). I tried to ran retargeting ad, but because I just started ˇits really small audience and the cost for 1000 people is around 18 dollars. I also ran the exact same ad but for broad audience (only in my country for around 5-6M audience), The cost for clicking on external link is 0.64 dollars (which I don’t care if the conversions will start come) I ran them both for 4 days and each of them could spend 5 dollars (maybe the problem is my budget, but I wanted start low first to learn little bit and try if it is works). I seted up also pixels, verify domain etc.. The ad graphic is nice (in my opinion, I studied graphic school) and I also ad 10% discount code for first order. Any good tips how to get my first conversion ? 🙂 It is really demotivating when you put money and effort into something without any results

    Lots of problems here:

    1. You’re in a saturated market and with a small budget, you’re competing for ad inventory against larger competitors who can afford to buy it away from you
    2. The first few rounds of advertising the goal is to train the Facebook Algorithm…. so expect to lose.
    3. Are you ad testing? in advertising – your opinion doesn’t matter. If it’s not converting, then something could be wrong with the creative or the audience or the product… map out your variables and test it

do you have customers already? if so – talk to them – use them as referrals. WOM is the best way to grow as early stage brands.
