What is the best resource to get a high Google Ad quality score?

Posted by seohelper on October 9, 2020 at 5:09 pm

I have a poor Google Ad score of 3. I have reviewed Google help on this but I don’t find it too helpful.

Is there any resources you could recommend? YouTube videos, websites etc.

I really want to get my score up to around 7-8.

It’s pretty easy. There are 3 factors QS is based on: LP quality, Ad relevance, CTR. Set up rows in your keyword report to see each factor. Work on page speed, SEO and content to get better with LP quality. Add keywords (!) in exact match to rise Ad relevance. Work on your ad copy and offer to rise CTR

make granular campaigns and ad groups: group campaigns by type, and ad groups by theme / similar keywords.

    Something like:

    Campaigns:

    * Brand (expected QS is 10/10)
    * Generic keywords (expected QS is 5-7/10)
    * make sure every keyword type has its own ad group, and each ad group has ads with relevant headlines and descriptions
    * Competitor (expected QS is 2/10)

don’t bother with account-level QS, its important to know what to expect from different campaign types. if you don’t like competitors campaigns and low QS, put them in negative keywords

Don’t kill yourself chasing quality score, people who do are wasting time and money.

Quality score does not necessary mean higher ROI.

I have keywords with shit quality score, but CTR is through the roof and ROI is amazing. I will sometimes get emails from Google reps about QS or sometimes maybe a customer will tell me they heard they need high QS.

Do everything you know to be right in terms of getting a high QS, but don’t lose sleep over it.
