  TikTok viewers becoming more and more international, what is happening?

  I am fairly new to tiktok and have about 15 videos, two of them are doing well with over 150k views. I noticed my notifications are being flooded by people from other countries, and when I checked the analytics the US viewership percentage keeps declining, now at 20%. I don't mind diversity, but I'm from California, my phone is from California, and the videos are just basic feminist takes. I was hoping to mainly connect with other 30 year old women in the US and I'm feeling a bit isolated now only getting engagement from elsewhere, and want to know if this is normal. People are following me as well who won't necessarily like my future videos, and I'm worried tiktok is going to keep pushing future videos outside the US to 20 year olds because for some reason that is what happened with this video.
