Stuck in learning hell recently
Posted by on October 10, 2020 at 12:27 amGot off the phone with a marketing expert from facebook. We are going to give it a week to see where our ads are.
Things were great for months. A very buggy situation happened where we lost our audiences and payment info. A couple weeks later they came back as if nothing happened and I had to retype payment info again.
Since, sales have been half of what they used to and about 10 ads for the past ten days have been set to learning.
Some older ads are saying “learning limited” but anything new just says “learning” for days and never does anything.
Ads I’ve written with 25$ daily budget with no end specified on the 2nd are still learning with one to give optimization events… Since the second I’ve received 112 sales so I’m confused on how Facebook has only captured 5.

Yeah, Facebook sucks.

The last 1 or 2 months Facebook has had major issues with attribution, learning, and performance. I’ve seen it on my accounts and I’ve seen it on this sub.
I haven’t seen any official documentation or press regarding this, but I’m pretty sure it’s due to the elections. The literal exact thing happened in 2016 leading up to elections, just not as bad.
Chop it down due to Facebook resources being shifted to political campaigns, their biggest source of income right now. It will get better in January, I predict
