should I create a new instagram account or continue posting on my current account???
Posted by on October 4, 2022 at 7:31 pmokay so I’ve been wanting post reels and better pictures but my current account has a lot of family and friends on it… I feel like if I were to post what I wanted to post I’ll be judged ?
so what I’m thinking is if I create a new account I’ll feel sort of free and I can do whatever I want.
my engagement is also really low and I haven’t been getting much attention on it either… even if I were to archive everything I don’t think my account would grow
for some reason I feel like in order to be happy I need to start fresh where I have no mutuals and I know no one hmm maybe I’m overthinking things

My question is why?
– why do you care if friends and fam see your content… are they not in support for you?
– why do you think starting a new account will give you an advantage? Is it pure vanity play or is there a monetary play here -

You can start from scratch but what type of content that you think they gonna judge you? Also, if they aren’t your targeting audience, then it’s good to start from scratch.

Start a new one! I have two accounts one for just really good photos and the others one where I can post whatever!! It’s honestly so much better!!

If you just wanna post fun stuff and don’t care about growing big start a new one. If you wanna become an influencer or something i think having supportive family/friends goes a long way (though i am not sure, as i have no experience being an influencer).
I will say that having two accounts means i can follow my friends/family in one account and then follow the influencers/celebrities/businesses/artists i like in the other account. It’s nice keeping them separate.

What I do is I post pictures and archive them right away and then wait like 1 week or more and it won’t show up on anyone’s feed
