I would say SemRush for Keywords Research. Ahrefs also provides good keywords but I prefer Ahrefs more for link building or generating content ideas.

I’d pick the first one for keyword research anytime!

I personally like Mangools-use all of their tools to manage my lead gen sites and they offer a 10 day free trial to see if you like it. Keywords Everywhere is another good one and it’s free-you just have to download an API key.

Between the two, SEMrush hands down.

SEMrush for not only keyword research, but also site audits, errors, site clean up efforts (shows you errors and warnings in a very organized way + also great for monitoring and comparing keyword performance over time which is so useful). Great for reporting as well. Very clear and easy to use.

Ahrefs is much like SEMrush. It does audits as well, and is great for identifying interlinks, backlinks, international keyword research. I don’t like Ahrefs for U.S. based keyword research because it is not very specific. I can’t rely on it.

I want to add that MozPro was originally developed for keyword research and that is what I lean on it for. I find that it is super specific and accurate and I’ve been successfully using it to develop content for years.

    Hope that helps!
