Rankings drop due to change in design
Posted by on September 2, 2023 at 8:17 amHi! I was ranking on 3rd, 4th and 5th pages on different keywords, i was working on a new design of my website. I change the complete design yesterday and all of my rankings have been dropped below 100th position. What should i do? Will it get back to same positions in few days or i have made a blunder?

The design won’t affect your rankings however, the structure could. Make sure whatever theme you are choosing has the proper tags in place for SEO. Test things like site speed as well. And if you can, make a staging site with the site using the old design, test it and compare. Use the lighthouse extension for Chrome for testing.
Edit: Make sure your url structure hasn’t changed.
