Promoting Twitter threads

I can’t figure out whether promoting the first tweet of a thread will result in the tweet being promoted with or without the replies.
For example, let’s say I posted a thread organically that looks like this:
Tweet 1 (hook): *3 social media trends to watch for in 2023, a thread:*

Reply 1: *Trend 1*
|
Reply 2: *Trend 2*
|
Reply 3: *Trend 3*
|
Reply 4: *CTA*Will promoting “Tweet 1” also show all 4 replies to the targeted audience?
