Please help: Awin is accusing me of “ad hijacking” and I don’t even know what that is.
A few days ago, I received the following email from Awin:

I don't know what ad hijacking is. I tried looking it up and am still confused. I'm not running any ads, anywhere, and haven't since around 2021. I run a couple of small websites for people with disabilities and have no money to run ads. I live in the United States. I don't place affiliate links for that advertiser. I wrote back and told them so, but today I received the following.

Hello,
As shown in the attached file, your ID has been associated with this ad hijacking case.
Could you please provide confirmation that you are no longer running SEM ads, or alternatively, share clear and explicit authorization from the advertiser permitting you to run such campaigns?
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Network Quality Team

If anyone can please tell me what is going on here and how to fix it, I'd greatly appreciate it.
