  • Pet content creator: how much to charge?

Hi! I have a pet account I post on for fun where I feature my cats and dogs. I’ve done a few partnerships in the past where I get free products in return for making videos, sometimes with a small flat fee.

    Insta: 39.7k
    Fb: 42K

Engagement on insta was 2.1 million views in the past month. I have quite a few viral videos but I have a steady community

How much do you think a fair charge would be for a 30 sec-45 sec video showcasing a product? I love pay transparency bc I like to know what’s fair but also what’s competitive. I do this for fun but the extra cash helps a lot with student loans.

    Thank you

Pet creators are honestly underrated, brands know animal content usually gets way better engagement than most niches.

Honestly with 2.1M monthly views and a strong niche audience, I think you could reasonably charge a few hundred dollars per 30–45 sec sponsored video, especially if your engagement is consistent.

At that point brands are paying more for reach + trust + viral potential, not just follower count.

At 2.1M monthly views, $500-800 minimum per dedicated video. Stop accepting free product only deals.

The real pricing jump usually comes from whether the brand only wants an organic post or also wants paid ad usage rights

How do you get Brand deals. I’ve never been offered and I have 650k on fb with mostly US and European followers? 8 million views monthly. 83k on IG.

Think about how much money you’d be making if you weren’t spending time creating content, that can give you a rough idea of what you should charge. Also try scheduling your posts in advance so you don’t miss peak activity hours. If needed, use tools to save time, like feedvector.com for scheduling posts and tracking what’s working across multiple social media accounts. Good luck OP!
