Outsourcing social media graphics
Posted by on July 7, 2023 at 5:30 pmDo you or your company outsource the graphic design work for your socials? For example, if you’ve got a beautifully branded IG feed, are the posts being designed by someone in house?
You focus on the strategy, scheduled, content etc and the designed images for your feeds are cranked out by someone else. Outsourcing seems like a no brainer here, but curious how common it is?

I have a digital marketing agency and we have an inhouse designer who is just here to use the copy of the copywriter and design the post.
I would say 50% of our client (before working with us) were doing random stuff on canva
50% get poor design (and thought it was great)

Always use a qualified designer.

I’m an online coach and SMM and I advise all my clients to outsource the part they don’t like. But only find good quality people to do it for them.
A lot of them outsource the design part and keep the thinking strategic bit to themselves. It’s very common. Infact, to grow and scale up, that is a tried and tested recipe.
