New Google Merchant Account Suspended (Help)
Posted by on November 10, 2020 at 6:02 pmI have just started a Shopify and went to link my Adwords to it which they require a Merchant Account for. Within a day, all of my products got rejected and a day later my account was suspended.
Anyone know what caused this? They said it was due to “low quality landing page experiences” and on Shopify it says “Misrepresentation of self or product (Untrustworthy promotions)”.
Can anyone help me with this please?

I mean, what more info do you need, it says it right there. Your page probably doesn’t disclose your business properly or maybe something is not working right. Try to check your website critically, as if you were a new customer visiting for the first time.

Same exact issue, appealed it. Upon review they said the same exact thing, nothing new. ?

Look up the merchant requirement on the Google support documentation. They show you exactly what policies you need to fulfill and what lines of best practices you need to follow. If you’ve done all that adaption double check it and submit an appeal.
Also note that if you appeal without changing anything or confirming that you stick to the guidelines your appeal prio gets lowered. After three denied appeals you won’t be able to appeal again (last I checked)
