  • Need a new battery for my Mazda 6 – any reliable installers in Satwa?

I’ve been noticing my Mazda 6 has been cranking slower over the past few weeks, and this morning it really struggled to start, so I think it’s finally time to replace the battery before I get stranded somewhere inconvenient. I’ve done a bit of research and it seems like the right size is a 55B24LS, which I know is pretty standard for Japanese cars, but I’m more concerned about finding a good installer than about the battery itself at this point. I live in Satwa and I’ve seen a few garages around that look like they do battery replacements, but I’m not sure which ones are actually trustworthy and which ones might cut corners or try to upsell me on things I don’t need. A colleague at work mentioned a place that offers Trusted Battery Installation Satwa and said they came to his house and did the job within half an hour, which sounds great because I really don’t want to have to drive to a workshop and wait around for hours. The thing that’s bothering me is that I’ve heard horror stories about people who had their battery replaced at a cheap shop and then had issues with the terminals coming loose or the battery dying again after just a few months because the alternator wasn’t checked properly. I’m also wondering if I should get an EFB battery because I’ve heard they handle the heat better, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra cost for a car that doesn’t have start-stop. I’m hoping to find a service that will actually test the charging system as part of the installation, because I don’t want to replace the battery only to find out the alternator was the problem all along. Has anyone here used a mobile battery service in Satwa and had a really good experience with a place that does proper quality work? I’d really appreciate some recommendations because I want to get this sorted this week and I’m a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there. I just want a reliable battery installation that’s done properly and won’t give me headaches down the line.
