Kenya Work eTA Your Guide for Employment Travel
Traveling to Kenya for a job or work related assignment requires the Work eTA before departure. The application asks for a clear passport scan, a recent photo, confirmed accommodation, travel bookings, and an official company letter confirming your employment and visit purpose. Single entry permits a 90 day stay, while multiple entry covers a full year with 90 days per visit. Standard processing takes 3 to 5 days, urgent takes 2 to 3 days, and super urgent gets approval within 1 to 2 days. I found the Kenya Work eTA guide helpful for understanding the document checklist. This eTA is a travel authorization and does not replace additional work permits required for employment. You cannot enter Kenya before your eTA is approved. Only US citizens can apply for the upcoming 5 year multiple entry option. Track your application through the portal or email. Keep a printed copy of your eTA with you when you travel.
