I currently have 401 followers on my page. I started trying to build a community for my practice but fell off after I went back to school and my focus had to shift. I haven't posted in a long time but I want to try to build up the page. My engagement on this page has always been trash. As I begin to post again what are some ways I can drive engagement and gain real followers outside of consistency?

*Engagement starts with engagement before you post anything, spend a week genuinely commenting on posts in your niche, not just emojis but real responses. When you do start posting again, ask a direct question in every caption because Instagram pushes content that sparks conversation. Your existing 401 followers already chose you once, so a simple ‘I’m back and here’s what’s coming’ post costs nothing and usually outperforms anything overly polished.*

    1. Before you start posting again for your practice, spend time genuinely engaging with other accounts in your niche by leaving thoughtful comments. 2. When you do post, include a clear, open-ended question in every caption to prompt direct replies and spark conversation. 3. Utilize Instagram Stories for interactive elements like polls and quizzes to boost engagement from your existing 401 followers.
