  Me and a few friends are building a poll/discussion-based social app and one thing we noticed is:

  Most entertaining conversations happen in:

  \- college groups

  \- random debates

  \- meme pages

  \- comment sections

  not on actual “social media” anymore.

  So we started experimenting with:

  \- anonymous hot takes

  \- current-topic polls

  \- chaotic opinion feeds

  \- quick interactions

  Still early but curious:

  What kind of discussions would actually make YOU spend time on a new social app?
