  • IMPOSSIBLE OR NOT: Does Intuitive, No-Research SEO Exist?

Posted by seohelper on March 23, 2021 at 8:44 am

Here’s the deal. I’ll create useful, super high-quality, well-written content while keeping the user needs and intent in mind at all times. I’ll write in a way that contains relevant keywords (according to my intuition) in titles, body, metas, and alts. And that’s it. Wouldn’t that rank as well?

I see so many people in the affiliate site business focusing on SEO, keywords, etc first. And then they create content. But I know my niche for over 15 years. I know what people want. I live my niche. What do I miss out on if I just write excellent content and spread it on social media?

Yes that will work but not as well as a carefully built campaign. You only know how to do this because of prior research you’ve done though. It goes hand in hand.

If it’s what you like and understand well, go ahead. You probably already know the most common questions in the industry, those are the long tail keyword equivilants.

As you write more content and it starts to get impressions, look in the search console for queries you’re showing up for. From there you can adjust your existing content or get ideas for new pieces.

The content on the Internet is not like an old-school book.

    You are missing this:

    1) Onpage SEO – your content can be beautiful but you still need to use Title/Description/H1 tags because this is how HTML pages are built. How to use them properly?

    2) Offpage SEO – who links to you? Some people may want to link to you with bad intentions.

    3) Website infrastructure – where is your good content hosted? Is the server slow? Is it often interrupting the service?

If you don’t have time to do it yourself, then find someone to outsource all of the SEO tasks to. There is simply no way to maximize your results if you aren’t being consistent in your approach to SEO for your site.

It might rank, it might not. It depends on the competition.

Just because you write a post that you think is high quality and informative doesn’t mean it will rank on the first page, it all depends on competition.

That SEO keyword research that the affiliate site people do is to find keywords that it’s actually worth writing for **based on competition**.

Also, ” I know what people want” only goes so far. Its a starting point. I guarantee you there are topics people are searching for in your niche that you wont/didnt expect, this is why SEOs do the keyword research too, to find those topics

When it comes down to it, just because you know a lot – doesn’t translate to you getting results. You can throw a lot of shit at the wall hoping some of it sticks, but the only thing that’s important with that is time. It takes many many many hours of time to write content, and if some of it doesn’t get any results it wasn’t worth your time. That’s essentially why people do SEO research – to not waste time.
