How to manage Google Ads on a business with multiple locations?

Posted by Ok_Competition_4167 on June 10, 2023 at 7:24 am

I could use some help on how to set up google ads account, campaigns, billing card, etc.

I work for this food based business client who has 15 locations. He wants to use a different billing cards for each location- is this possible? (15 cards)

Also, should I make separate campaigns for each location? The business only has one website. Please let me know the best way I can set up his google ads and what are my best options in each part thank you

15 billing profiles means 15 accounts.

Also, and with all due respect, you’re asking basic questions. How did you land the client in the first place if you don’t know how to structure the account?

Your own option is giving each business location their own ad account, since you can only have one credit card billed. This would apply to all ad platforms out there right now.

Each business would have at least one campaign. Hopefully none of the locations are near each other and would potentially compete with each other.

why don’t you make an individual landing page on the one website, each optimized for a specific location. make 15 campaigns each with a different final url?

With different credit cards you’ll have to use different accounts. You’ll also need different sites. So it looks like your client needs to adjust his business structure / sites for this to be possible.

I have a franchise client like this who has 45 locations with their own card and he got a corporate card and does a separate bill with each location at the end of the month. So one account, each location has their own campaigns, and he deals with the billing headache he created internally.

I have different ad campaigns for different locations that I am targeting.

But I do use the same credit card for both. Not sure about that part of the question.

I would ask Google’s team. You don’t want to have multiple accounts directing ads to the same website because that could be a policy violation.

I have a client that wanted 2 different cards for 2 different businesses but they offer the same services in the same state. So to abide by Google’s policy, he has to utilize 1 account and 1 credit card.
