GuestJune 24, 2023 at 10:14 amWhat makes you think you can freelance with zero experience and never managing a ppc account?
How do you expect to answer any questions a client might have?
How do you expect to not waste the clients budget?
I don’t understand this subreddit. Go work for an agency for a few years at least..

GuestJune 24, 2023 at 10:25 amYou have zero experience and you’re expecting businesses to give you their hard earned money to gamble with? Something is wrong with the way you think. That may explain why you haven’t been able to impress recruiters and land a job.

GuestJune 24, 2023 at 2:06 pmI’ve been doing it for 12 years and still suck at getting new business. I haven’t found a new client in over a year.
Not my strong point.

GuestJune 24, 2023 at 5:15 pmLook being a PPC expert is not analogous to being a doctor, but my point is why in the world would a legitimate business hire someone for such a skilled position with little no experience. No disrespect, but you may pick up a few local brick and mortar type businesses that don’t know much about digital marketing, but those are also some of the worst classification of clients in my experience. I’d try and get some more PPC experience before putting much effort into acquiring clients.

GuestJune 24, 2023 at 5:23 pmHello!
If we speak from a PPC freelancer point of view, there are 2 things to distinguish:
Prospection Phase
– What :
Define why working with you add something to the needs of your potential client.– Which skills do you sell ?
Google Ads Expert, analyst of Google Analytics 4, conversion tracking in GTM, good at installing the Meta API etcWhere :
There should be platform of freelanczes in your country. And some worldwide sites about freelancers too
Update your LinkedIn, to build trust, to show your capabilities. Even if you are a newbie and don’t have crazy degrees/experiences, at least be active in LinkedIn. To show at the people who will look your profile that you can help themPhase of ” Meetings – Négociations – Signing contract
– The first ”Hello” and the signing can take weeks or happen in the first meeting, so be ready
– Write down on a paper/Doc the questions your prospects will have. The good, the complicated and the bad questions
The goal is to be clear in your mind about what to answer
– Prepare arguments about your strengthen, your weakness, how your try to improve it (like a SWOT of you)And finally, move your ass and to do PPC !!
I understand that your are a beginner, but why should I give you even a small account to manage if you know shit about Meta/GoogleAds/Tiktok !You need to be at least average in Google Ads and/or Meta to have the potential to live full time of it
So create accounts on these 2. It’s free. Create campaigns, look for the settings, understand the goal and impact of the options in the many menusMany agencies have a pages speaking about the 2 plateformes, New strategies, the things to avoid, the updates etc
And many people on LinkedIn post good infos about PPC (but be always sceptical, there are bullshitter), Google ADS, Meta, GTM, GA4. So follow these guys, check their post from now to 1-2 years agoThen try Google certifications on skillshop
Lastly, like in few months, try to be good at a other platform/tool. So you will become better at PPC and be able to sell legitimately a new service and then, get more money
