How to change TikTok region?

How can I change TikTok region so other popular countries can see my content. I want my account location to be in USA. I now live in Lithuania and most of the views are from my country and a few from the other ones close to me. I’ve tried VPN, taking out my SIM card and then using VPN. Maybe I did something wrong I don’t know. Is there anyone who succeeded at this and maybe can explain step by step how to do it? I would really appreciate it. Someone said that the best fix for this is to get a SIM card from the country you want to post at, but unfortunatelly I cannot do that at the moment so I really need another fix for this. Any advice is really appreciated.
