How do the Ad platforms stack up for you?

I have spent a good amount (4 fig.) on Meta Ads achieving a ROAS of 3 – now I’m running into some policy/moderation issues – not particularly reasonable but that’s a whole other can of worms.

I have used Pinterest and Google ad platforms over the past couple of weeks and have not had anywhere near the success I had using Meta ads. Google Search Ads are achieving a similar CPC to my Meta Ads but struggling to get conversions or any email sign ups. Pinterest ads are doing even worse – around 4x the CPC of Google and Meta campaigns. I have been doing as much research as possible and trying to create compelling ads. I understand its still early on but having spent a couple hundred across both Pinterest and Google I feel pretty disheartened with my results: 1-2 conversions and 0 emails gathered.

Is the learning curve with these platforms much steeper than Meta Ads?

My ideal customer is a 35-65 y/o mother for reference. I suppose this makes Meta Ads ideal but Pinterest also has a large population of middle-aged women.

    Any input would be appreciated!

Spending $9K on Meta is not that much in the grand scheme of things. Either you spent to little over a long period of time or you spend a lot in a short period of time, which means you don’t know what the long-term impact of running Meta ads will be for the business.

Our experience says Pinterest is not a ROI channel…great for brand awareness at best. Running something for 2 weeks on Google is not that long to have tested all the options possible to get it to work.

Plus Google and Facebook are two different platforms, which when comparing them is really apple’s to orange’s. Instead of trying to test out all the ad platforms under the sun. Stick with Google and test more to see if you can get it to work. Jumping from platform to platform after a couple weeks is going to get you nowhere fast.
