  • How do I reach top results for a very specific keyword?

For context: old site for certain niche topic went down, I made a new site. Now I want this new site to be the first thing in google after people search for the old site's name. How do I achieve that?

I’m assuming you lost use of the old site’s domain?

Identify the right keywords, produce content that caters to the needs of the intended audience and helps them find answers to their questions, be consistent with content creation, optimize your content as per the focus keyword(s), share content through platforms (social media or online communities) that your audience generally prefers, use internal links smartly, build a strong backlink profile, and ensure your pages load in 3 seconds or less.

So 1. Website went offline 2. you create new website 3. you want to be found when people search for the old website? Write an atricle about the old website seems to be the only way. Also, you need to be just as good or even better with your content on the niche topic the old website ranked for. Put everything you can into creating the best content for the relevant keywords / user needs.

Claim the old site’s domain or 301 redirect, Google will catch on eventually.
