How do I know from which keywords a particular lead is generated.

I run Google ads for my service business. Is there any tool or CRM that will give me the data on which lead is coming from which keyword?

Some popular CRM platforms that integrate with Google Ads are Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, and Pipedrive. For tools, try Google Ads Conversion Tracking.

Click Keywords or ‘Search Terms’ in the same section and then other by conversions – you can then Segment by Convertion Action/Category and I will show you which conversions are attributed to what keywords and searches, allowing you trim out the bad and focus on the good! This only works assuming you have conversion tracking set up correctly 🙂

If you really want to follow the lead from end to end, then you can also use UTMs. They are easy to create and you can make sure to tag the keyword, so you can see it on Analytics as well.

Yes, many CRMs (Salesforce for example) can harvest keyword (search_term) data from your web form if you use UTM tracking codes.

The best and easiest solution, though, is CallRail. It’ll automatically grab all the information from your webform (and calls) and include the keyword data for you. And it’s only $85/month for full call and form tracking.

The nice thing about this is you don’t need to use forms that support hidden fields, which can otherwise mean a redesign.
