Having issues with my campaign or low demand overall
Posted by on June 3, 2023 at 9:58 pmI use Google Ads for my appliance repair business. For two first month it brought me good leads but lately I barely have 1-2 calls a day.
How can I check if it’s issues with the campaign or just low demand in my business nowadays. Usually high season starts in May.
Sorry for lack of details, I am only learning. Anybody have the same issues with service area business?

How long has the down period been? It’s common to have ebbs and flows in Google Ads. It’s hard to say for sure without looking at your account, but here’s a few things you could check:
1. If any competitors started bidding on your keywords
2. If your budget is large enough to accommodate an increase in demand during busy season
3. Any disapproved ads or keywords
4. Any changes to location targeting
5. Are you limited by the bid strategy? -
I run a lot of appliance repair accounts, for an agency that only works with Appliance Repair businesses.
What’s your daily budget?
Bidding strategy?
City / general area?Chances are you don’t have enough budget to get enough traffic daily to drive more calls
Or perhaps you’re using manual bidding and not bidding high enough. This is typical when more lead-gen type competitors come in and ramp their activity up.
Check auction insights and see what types of competitors are showing up

A lot of good advice here but fundamentally you should be checking the keywords that converted for you before and see if demand has dropped off, cpc has increased, maybe refresh the ads.
Everything else is a secondary if you had a setup that worked before.
