Guest posting with a backlink

And you add do follow links to your guest post that link to your own page. Is this illegal? Or is it only illegal when you straight up buy a link insertion from a page without adding any guest post?

This is also called off page SEO.None of both illegal, it is legal and play important role to get organic traffic and also rank your website on Google Search.

Never understood this. How the hack Google will understand did u buy or not? If u buy links only with keywords in ur anchors, Google will understand that u r trying to manipulate its algorithm.
When u buy backlinks to look natural always ask a website owner to add inner link to some page on this domain. In this case it will be impossible to understand that u buy them.
