Google My Business is showing wrong email.
Posted by on March 18, 2023 at 12:32 amTotal noob her getting ready to post the business using Google My Business. Everything was going fine until it asks me verify the business. Problem is, it is showing the wrong email address. Not my gmail, but a business email account I setup a while back that is no longer active. Is there a fix for this? I’m guessing it was going off my website. Do I have to wait for a recrawl?

Just choose another option to verify your business and you will be fine. Somehow Google wants to verify your business profile with that address, but it won’t have any impact on anything.

Click “claim this business” and do that process
