Google is not indexing my site
Posted by on December 3, 2020 at 2:02 amI launched a new site back in September, the sitemap is submitted to GSC and it seems to be reading it daily (added a site as domain property btw). After 3 months though I have only like 9 pages indexed out from 30.
I read there were some indexing issues back in October, which should be fixed though. The GSC now doesn’t have the URL prefetch/index requesting tool, so I’m kinda lost how to proceed.
Any ideas?

Are they being disallowed on the robots.txt, or have the noindex tag on the pages?

I launched a new site too. After 1 week Google’s not indexing my site.

have you done link building while you are waiting on your website to get indexed?

How’s your internal linking?

Have you registered your site with the search engines?
A lot of my customer doesn’t do that and a lot of agencies also didn’t know that.
Otherwise the crawler doesn’t know you 😉

Check the sitemap validation in any site map checker
Also if you website a wordpress or any ready made platform use rankmath plugin it will make everything instead of you.
