Google Ads predicting massive (10b plus) impressions for display campaigns.
Posted by on March 8, 2021 at 4:48 pmIt’s a fairly niche campaign at US and Canada only. In terms of targeting I selected an option “Business Financial Services” , which Google described as people who make purchasing decisions for corporate financial services (our exact target market).
Google estimated this would create 10billion impressions a week. How can this be? I’m not running the campaign until I can work out why this is as I fear flooding our site with low-quality traffic.
The budget is pretty small for the campaign, equivalent of $20 a day.

That’s a very upper-funnel audience. You’ll want to start smaller – create a custom audience and type in keywords related to what you’re selling.
