I mean, maybe there’s a few worth working with on there but if you’re here asking this question it likely means you don’t know how to evaluate if someone is worth hiring.

And if you’re going to avoid one thing in particular it’s buying links from Fiverr. Please never do that.

They will buy a bunch of spammy links and maybe make a couple crappy blog posts that get no traffic. You might see a temp boost in ranking for a month or two but then it will tank

fiver just means hiring some stranger online. do you trust a random stranger with important aspects of your site? do you trust a stranger that you give money to that they will spend the hours they say they will?

seo takes a long time and you can do most of it yourself. just do all the things seo blogs tell you to do. there aren’t really any secrets to it

When I was just starting out with my own sites, before I knew anything about SEO, I hired a few people off Fiverr. They were all absolutely terrible but I did get lucky with 1 guy. He runs his own agency based out of San Diego now and I occasionally refer clients to him when I don’t have time to take them on. He’s probably the best person I’ve worked with, particularly when it comes to local SEO. Other than him, Fiverr for SEO is dreadful.

I also used it for website stuff and, out of 25-30 people, I found 1 guy that I’ve been working with for over 7 years.

For writers, don’t go cheap, trust the reviews and only use US-based writers. Even that’s not foolproof but there are some decent writers on there. I must have gone through 150+ writers over the years and I only use a few of them semi-regularly.

My main use for Fiverr now is design; logos, infographics, etc.

I have used fiver before for backlinks and regretted it. Spammy backlinks with most not even indexed.

Apparently there is some decent ones there though. Just expect to pay the higher prices for it.

Writers, backlinks and other small stuff. You can find the right person if you keep looking. These people dislike it because they just lazy to find the right person in the crowd and ask for prove or reference before you start working with them.
