  • Established Adult Novelty Brand Seeking SEO Guidance

Hello. I own a well established (online since 2012) adult novelty product brand and I'm looking for guidance on seo. In my super niche and highly censored market, I've always struggled with marketing. So, I've relied on building my brand through online men's groups, forums, reddits, etc.

I understand using sites like fiverr and upwork are iffy, but I also can't afford to pay someone more than a few hundred a month.

If it's not clear, I'm not looking to hire someone here.

    Suggestions?

If it’s a super niche novelty product SEO might not be a good fit for you. There’s maybe some very long tail specific keywords you could look to rank for, but you might be better off marketing and connecting with your audience through social platforms. If it’s likely to get censored then be creative with your posts and imagery – although to be honest some of the ads I’ve seen on Instagram the last few months – I can’t see you getting censored too hard.

You can only marketing on adult sites, i think ezoic allowed for these products.
But i recommend you to start any other business line where you will play on complete ground.

If you’ve already established a brand, you’re already on a good path for SEO. I’d just try the usual schtick, like optimizing categories and product pages for keywords, if you’re able to. Even explicit content gets indexed and will be searched for on Google, other Search Engines and AI clients. Try to use a SEO tool that doesn’t pull keyword data from Google Ads and you should be golden.

For your adult novelty brand in a highly censored market, focus on long-tail, less explicit keywords that still describe your products accurately. Optimize your product descriptions and category pages with these specific phrases. Also, leverage your existing community by encouraging reviews and forum discussions on your site, as this user-generated content can organically improve your search visibility over time.

If your budget is a few hundred a month, I’d probably avoid “monthly SEO services” and instead buy targeted expertise. Think audit + roadmap rather than ongoing retainers.

Since you’re in a censored niche, I’d focus on technical SEO, content gaps, and creative link building opportunities that fit your audience instead of generic agency tactics. You’ve already proven community distribution works for you. That’s actually valuable data. The question is how to turn that existing authority and niche knowledge into search traffic.

Also, because you’ve been online since 2012, I’d be very curious about your current state before spending anything: indexed pages, keyword footprint, backlink profile, technical issues, and where traffic is actually leaking. Sometimes older sites have a few fixable bottlenecks hiding in plain sight.

I would be willing to run an audit for you! Your niche will be a little harder.
