Does Google still support the “phrase.match.modifier”?

Not even[Google’s official list of match types and modifiers](https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/7478529?hl=en) lists the Phrase Match Modifier?

Does Google still support Phrase Match Modifiers? Does Bing?
If you use them, what type of results are you seeing? better? worse? Any tips on how to best implement them? is it better to [mix with Broad Match Modifiers](https://digitaluncut.com/do-you-use-phrase-match-modifier/) or run on its own?

At my company we’ve moved away from using phrase match entirely (except for negatives). We use a mix of exact match and broad modified KWs. With close variants the queries that even exact match keywords can match to is quite broad.
