  Confused about www vs non-www domain and redirects

  So, I have a new site I’ve launched. it shows up in google as -https://domain.com if I type http://www.domain.com it also pops up. I got an alert from GSC that the www version is not indexed because of redirects.

  That’s good right? That it’s not indexed? Do I still need to set up a redirect, I never did in the first place (using WordPress), but it seems it already redirects naturally.

  I am a bit worried because I clicked ‘Validate” on GSC, so I hope it doesn’t somehow override and index the www version. Thanks for the help!
