Is it possible to earn money just by uploading videos? I mean without any sponsoring or anything like that.

Yes, when you hit 10K followers you can join the TikTok creator fund. It pays around 0,003$ per view.

Unless you get consistent views it´s not that profitable though. Do you know the “What´s your favorite celebrity interview?” woman? While her video got stitched literally millions of times, she didn´t get money from the stitches but just her own videos. Since the end of january she earned around 750$.

Others like Partyshirt should earn quite a decent amount though.

I don’t recommend joining the creator fund, lots of people that have joined said that since then their views went down. You will not be able to get views AND you won’t get any money. I would focus on making great content and maybe in the future you could get sponsors.

You stated that “the TikTok creator fund… pays around 0,003$ per view”, that works out to an RPM of $3 ($3/1,000)
When you compare that to youtube it’s about the same depending on the subject matter and geo of viewers, but requires a lot less work in creating the video.
Is there anywhere that I can get more info on this?
