Best way to hide contractors in Google Ads?

Posted by DizzMaCity on June 21, 2023 at 8:09 pm

Is there a way to make sure my clients don’t see who has access to their Google Ads Account? I’m looking to scale my Google Ads clients by starting to subscontract out some of the grunt work such as audits and negative keyword sweeps, but I don’t want my clients freaking out when they see a new user reviewing their accounts. I’ll be reviewing all of their work and implementing the changes myself, but I’d like to free up my time from doing some of the ongoing account maintenance research.

Is there a way to conceal these subcontractors by adding them to my MCC account? Any tips are welcome.

Create an email for them under your agency name and give them access.

Clients don’t see who is attached to an MCC, they just see what MCC is attached to their client ad account. Keep in mind, anyone who makes a change on an ad account is logged in change history… as long as it is something change history can log. So clients do and can see if someone made a change on their ad account.

Give yourself exclusive access. For your subs, create Google Sheets for their work that are populated by whatever report they need to do it.

Create a login with a generic email address for your agency that they all use
