So I’m managing a clients community (fb currently) and I’m looking for new ways to get the most out of it. Anyone have any cool tips/ features that would help?

I’m also suggesting the idea of making them a discord community but as their sector is quite nieche I’m trying to find the correct bots to build it, if anyone is a discord wizard please could you drop me a message and would greatly appreciate it ????

P.s love the value from this channel, keep it up everyone ?

Just an FYI about community management, there’s a r/communitymanager sub we’re working on building. If you have more CM-related questions, we’d love to have you!

But to your question, I’ve done several Facebook community groups. I’d be curious to hear what you have in place now, but what worked for me was themed days (like rant Wednesday), doing polls, that sort of thing. There’s no features that i can think of, but alot is just engaging the community to interact and that looks different for every community. Some do better with question posts, others sharing or discussion.

And for me, if it’s a niche sector and y’all aren’t exploding for ways to engage, I personally wouldn’t recommend jumping into a discord. I would recommend having a clear use case for the Discord; what will you get there that you can’t really elsewhere? What are you aiming to accomplish with that?

mee6 bot is pretty nice and the premium does have its perks to make it more personable to the server its operating in.

If you have anything that deals with posting on Tik Tok there is a bot called Freshtok. Link it and it will announce in the discord when you post a new video

Check out MightyNetworks. Most of their communities used to be FB groups
