I’m curious to know if anyone has been using Claude with Ahref API and what results they get.

Been experimenting a lot but I haven’t outsourced SEO to Claude tout-court. What I did is to connect Claude and Ahref to get a weekly analysis of what’s happening to my website. It definitely reduces the clutter happening into Ahref and helps me spot opportunities or issue I didn’t see.

Yeah mostly for research and content structuring, less for “automated SEO magic.” Claude is great at turning messy keyword/data exports into actual content angles people would search for.

I’ve used it with Ahrefs data plus Runable for quickly turning those ideas into focused landing pages/comparison pages. The workflow feels more useful than just generating generic blog posts from keywords.

Yes. I’m a Director of SEO and AI at an agency. Claude / Claude code are my go-to work tool(s) for pretty much everything now.

I don’t use the ahrefs API, though. We use data for SEO

i think the real advantage is less about Claude specifically for SEO and more about combining strong reasoning models with reliable data sources like Ahrefs/GSC

We use Claude for content generation and use Ahref for producing recommended seo (title, H1, meta, schema). I still think human intervention is necessary. I have not seen too much hallucinations.
What we’ve done is provided Claude entire index of our site and it’s able to recommend internal links. Quite useful.

I built my own seo tool using dataforseo and other API. For example, i built a rss feeds management connected to Claude API to assign specific analysis to each feed

I’m not using the Ahrefs API. I’m using the Semrush API, but I’ve been using Claude Code with Semrush to create everything from technical audits to content audits, creating content strategy, reviewing on-page SEO, and even doing link building. It’s incredible what it can do now compared to just six months ago.

I’m using Ahrefs API with Codex via the Ahrefs lite plan. One cool use case is pulling down the raw html from site audit reports and converting to MD files. Then you can use the LLM to assist with internal linking, content suggestions etc while it can access the context of pretty much all the existing content on the site. You can have it reference keyword data, current rankings, and other data from Ahrefs to produce very good recommendations imo.

We use Claude to help us with our n8n automations to post to WordPress via the WorsPress API. Claude knows n8n and API pretty well.

Claude Code has helped us build custom applications for each eCom client to update all their products. In short instead of manually optimizing anything, we export everything from the website, build a tool that allows us to optimise everything and then import it again. Takes 2-3 workdays and we can spend another 1-2 days building something that keeps the site up-to-date and all the client has to do is upload new products in whichever way they always have.

We custom build it from scratch every time for many reasons, security being one, but also no websites are ever the same and each client wants things done certain ways.
