anyone having an issues with SE Ranking results Recently?
Posted by on March 25, 2026 at 1:33 amSeeing a big drop in my clients results starting on march 4th, even clients where we just started tracking, but haven't done any work yet.
Given I havent see big issues in clients traffic, and nobody else seems to be concerned about rankings (from what I can tell), it makes me think they are having some kind of issue.

One of the sites I have on SER isn’t showing recent traffic.

For one of my clients traffic is up to almost all time highs. But in March, leads are down to almost all time lows.

Are you talking about rankings?
If so easy way to check if the tool has an error
* do a manual search and see where they rank.
* and/OR Check avg position in GSC, if the keyword is in a position that might send impressions -
yeah I saw something similar around that timeframe, rankings dropped in the tool but traffic and GSC stayed pretty flat
usually when there’s that mismatch it’s a tracking issue, not actual SERP movement. I’d sanity check against another tracker or just spot check manually for a few keywords before trusting it

No, because we don’t use their data, we have our own GUI scrapers :).

Yeah I’ve seen a few people mention weird fluctuations lately. If traffic hasn’t really moved, that’s usually a sign it’s more of a tracking/reporting issue than an actual ranking drop.
Especially if even brand new projects are showing declines with no changes made, that’s a bit of a red flag. Could be how they’re pulling data or a temporary sync issue.
I’d probably cross check a few keywords manually or with another tool just to sanity check before assuming anything’s wrong. If everything looks stable outside of that, I wouldn’t stress too much yet.

Their tool is not working since 8th March . I followed up with customer support as we lost three customers who thought they are performing bas (had guest links of se rankinh) . So far there support says that they acknowledge the issue and developers are looking into it. Note yet resolved , followed up the latest 4-5 days back. Only Semrush is working for me now in terms of position tracking.
