Anyone Else Getting a completely new Ads interface today?
Posted by colorado_here on May 5, 2023 at 7:30 pmI logged into one of my client accounts this afternoon and immediately noticed a [**complete redesign of the Ads interface**](https://imgur.com/PbUkOAO). None of my other clients seem to be effected as-yet, just your usual random differences in where stuff is from account to account. Anyone else seeing this?

GuestMay 5, 2023 at 7:46 pmYes, I have it across about half of the accounts I work with. If anyone can find campaign settings please let me know…. I’ve been getting there via a weird drop-down but this seems inefficient

GuestMay 5, 2023 at 8:23 pmI randomly got the new UI earlier this week. A heads up would’ve been nice, but thankfully you can switch to the old one.

GuestMay 5, 2023 at 9:08 pmYep, you can switch to the old one, but I’ve found that the date selector sometimes disappears which is really nice! ????????

GuestMay 5, 2023 at 9:48 pmCurrent UI is dog shit. Hopefully this new one is better. While their at it maybe they can add a hot key for going to the conversion page too.

GuestMay 5, 2023 at 9:59 pmWhen a restaurant changes its menu, your first question should be “how much higher are the prices now?”
When Google changes its Ads UI, your first question should be “what data/settings do I no longer have access to?”

GuestMay 5, 2023 at 10:48 pmMaybe I’m the only person who feels this way but these dafuq’ers continue to do their best in hiding every mofo setting that would have bearing on running a viable account at cost efficiency for a client.
I’m so fed up with their constant forcing of some form of ‘trust Google implicitly with every setting – and include your Black Amex or direct access to your checking account’
There’s more than a few people at Google that really need a come to Jesus meeting with agencies / client executive management.
I foresee a class action lawsuit at some point in the future that will force Google to revert back to the time when the dashboard gave you control over basic features like, oh I don’t know, if I want to promote White Shoes I can promote White Shoes, and not have to worry about Google forcing broad match that sucks every damn non viable click into your spend equation.
Sorry for the rant. Just so fucking tired of this World Monopoly NON support service bitch ass Vampire.

GuestMay 6, 2023 at 1:32 amDoes anyone know – When changing back to the old interface via settings, does this change it for everyone on the account? Or just your own user?

GuestMay 6, 2023 at 3:12 amWhenever you try to understand Google or Facebook, never forget that big tech is a ponzi scheme designed to enrich middle management at the expenses of investors and users.
If what they do don’t make sense, remember that someone, somewhere, has to justify a 7 figures salaries to run a business that could’ve run itself fine (if not arguably better) for the last decade, with minimal human intervention.

GuestMay 6, 2023 at 4:40 amI don’t have it, but it still looks pretty familiar. Safe to say it’s not a major overhaul this time? More like an aesthetic cleanup?

GuestMay 6, 2023 at 5:38 amI personally love the current UI. This looks JUST like SA360 at first glance. Not sure if I like it

GuestMay 6, 2023 at 7:42 amUghhh not again, more getting used to something new. It’s a bummer I hate the editor cause it seems that hasn’t been changed since the 90s the way it looks
